Well, apart from that disturbing note, I'd just note that the lighting isn't right any more. Her skin appears glossier than before, and I guess, not what you'd chosen from the renderer.

Just noticed her eyebrows changed from blonde to black too

The newest portrait creation in the new SiSi build (5th Jan) has now been overwritten by the older portraits on my account, even though the char used totally different settings.
The auto-server portrait thing surely should be linked to (and do a new version) when someone creates a portrait, not automatically overwrite the new portait by the server's old version when it feels like it?

Originally by: Iamien Thanks for listening to feedback CCP. You ask us for feedback on server rendering here and despite overwhelmingly negative feedback you make a devblog announcing that you are going through with it anyway.
Well in the interest of hopefully alerting CCP before an impending portrait disaster, I will sum up the main SERIOUS issues I've seen in the server-portrait deployment:
1. The server is not linked in any way to the re-creation of a portrait for an existing character. This became apparent when SiSi's 5th Jan build arrived, and although new client portraits were created, they did not get server-rendered. Instead, the server forced the OLD portrait back onto the client, overwriting the portraits created on the 5th Jan Build. (Note: the client retains the new 512pixel image, but the 256 and tiny image for the toolbar & Chat windows is the OLD portrait). This is potentially very serious as it may affect the rollout or any future re-making of avatars & their portraits. Imagine someone gets an extra re-make allowed to them, and they spend hours doing it, only for the server to overwrite it again the day after = very unhappy customer.
2. Some hair styles are missing (bald) when server-rendered. Two of my char creations over the past coupel weeks have had no hair when server-rendered. other examples can be seen in this thread.
3. Some makeup colour/shades seem to be rendered differently on the Client compared to the server-render. Lighting also seems to differ for some people. (This may simply be due to a Client machines inability to process high level shaders or T&L, whatever).
If anyone else wants to add their issue to the list feel free. I felt obliged to re-iterate the first two MAJOR issues after seeing the devblog to try and prevent disaster.

You can change the 512 to some other sizes that work, don't think there is anything bigger than 512 x 512 though.
That's odd, if I use that link with my character ID it does show my new character but if I start up the test server client it keeps showing the old one even after clearing the cache.
On my client, the 512 pixel images are correct (the new chars made on the (7th?)) I think; but the 256 pixel image is the stubborn one that forces its way back from the server to the client with an OLD image of the very first server render. You'll see yours is different too if you change the link to '256' on the end instead of 512, the pics will be different.
